On Friday, drove over to fish Silver Lake in Brinson GA (north side of Lake Seminole). I targeted crappie the first half of the day and bass the second half. Found just one crappie and two small 2-pound bass. Bass were found in shallow water (3ft) and crappie shallow water adjacent deep water.

On Saturday morning, put in at Lake Seminole and targeted crappie with Bass Pro Triple Ripple grub body in both threadfin shad and watermelon on small 1/8oz black jig head. Picked up one crappie every half hour to hour and some other species too. Ended the day with 10 crappie, 5 bass, 1 yellow perch, 1 golden shiner, and 3 jacks. These fish all put a pretty good pull on 6 & 8-pound test line. Crappie were 3/4-pound to 1.5-pound and bass up to 2 pounds.
