Title: What are you using for small lakes?
Post by: Scott McGehee on January 04, 2022, 09:16:02 AM
I've got an 1860 Tracker that I've set up for electric only for my home lake, but I can only take it out of the lake when it's dry or the wife comments strongly about the ruts in the yard.  I've been considering a second electric only boat with a trailer for use in the 3 other small ponds that I have access to.  Been considering going the small pontoon (Pond King) option or even a used aluminum with an outboard to give me the option to go to some larger lakes.

So, all that being said, how about a discussion on what you are using and why?

I have a kayak that I love, but my Tinny Bass Boat gets the real work out-

I have the 8ft Baby Bass Hunter. Its the little boat I'm in on all my Marshland videos.

I fish out of G3 1548 Alwed Jon Boat.  I have a 2 stroke 25hp Yamaha I put on when I'm fishing the small rivers.  When I fish the Electric Motor only lakes I have to take it off.
