Title: Cross lake 13 Feb 22
Post by: BassmanRudy on February 14, 2022, 02:14:10 AM
Hadn't been on the water in 2 weeks and couldn't pass up the dry sunny day. Fished Cross as it's close by and I wanted to fish docks. Started from Barron's and fished the marina some then the little bridge behind it.  Then hit almost every dock going back towards the point with no luck so went to the other side of the pocket and fished from there all the way to the bigger bridge again with no luck. I flipped several different baits and also tried cranking corners and rock and skipped a swimjig as well. Also tried some Bubba shot and ned rigs but that didn't work either. Water temps were 51-53° and the lake had a light stain to it. Winds were light and while it was only in the 50s air temp wise didn't feel too bad. Was nice to get out there.

Sounds like you had the same day I had last week, and I fished everything you fished!!

Crazy, with those water condition you should have popped a couple. Cross can be so dang stubborn.
