Title: Conroe Day 1 update
Post by: BassmanRudy on February 25, 2022, 08:15:41 PM
Wellp it was Cold but didn't rain much. We managed to catch 9 or 10 bass with at least 6 being keepers but none bigger than 3lb 2 oz. We did carry that one around a while hoping one of the hourly weigh-ins would be low but no luck. Biggest fish today was 10 something and there were a few 8s and 9s. Saw water temps from 51-56° and several anglers looked like they were sight fishing fish on beds. We saw some light spots up near the jungle but no fish on em. Our fish came on a variety of lures as we junk fished whatever we came across.

Will try again tomorrow with more cold and a lot more rain expected lol. Why do I enjoy this?!?!?

I've fished quite a few BBT events and while I've weighed a few, never brought home a check yet. Good luck!

Many times a solid three will cash a check. Always worthy of hanging onto them.

Good luck out there today.
