What fuel additive are you using for your boat? What about those that are filling up with ethanal free gas, are you still using a fuel additive?

I use the quicksilver products on each fill up, regardless if the gas is ethanol free or not.
Lou, which Quicksilver products?

I'm a religious user of Startron and have been for many years now. I've never used anything but non-ethanol fuel and technically I shouldn't need any additives, but I see it as a little extra insurance. Prior to using Startron I used Sta-bil for many years, but I only added it to my fuel during the Winter months when my use of boat, power equipment, and machinery was less. It also seemed to work as well, but as I learned more about gasoline from a buddy of mine who's been in the fuel business for nearly 50 years and learned more about Startron, I switched.
Funny thing about a lot of the fuel additives out there on the market, they contain Ethanol.

Quickleen, and Quickare.
I will occasionally use Seafoam, sometimes a Quick Silver product like their version of Stabil.

I use both quickleen and quickare on every tank. I have dual 32 gallon tanks, so sometimes I have fuel that might sit a month or more if I'm not able to get out to the lake. The quickare keeps it stable and my Optimax likes it....
I use Stabil at every fill up. I have a 32gal tank in my Stratos also and sometimes there a few weeks in between trips.
I use 4oz of two stroke oil and 1 oz of Mercury Quik Kleen. plus Stabil in 5 gl cans. My boat only has a 15gl tank, so it makes it easy to keep cans on hand to top off with.
