I purchased a VS 1882, love it.
I want to add an adjustable pedestal seat but having an issue finding a compatible insert for the base, I have a seat just need the adjustable insert.
Yes I can get one from Ranger for $2000, but has anyone had luck with anything else.

My older Ranger has the spring lock bottom like the one below. You just need to know what your pedestal style is and then buy an adjustable version. Ranger uses Springfield pedestals, so you should be able to find one pretty easy and for around $150 US Dollars...
