Title: Toledo North/Sabine River - July 5th
Post by: CRosh324 on July 12, 2022, 11:45:36 AM
We took a ride up north TB.  Son-in-law had been catching some good numbers up there for the last few trips, so he and his son went with me.  We boated 35 fish on cranks, spinnerbaits, and T-rig worms.  Majority of fish on T-rigs and majority all in the 13" +/- range!  I think we had four over, but had a blast.  It was HOT, water stained but pretty, and not much wind!

Always fun fishing in the river up above Toledo, I just don't get why the 14 inch mark is so hard to hit. So many fish and the keepers are few and far between, then bam a 4 pounder LOL

I do love fishing it though, thanks for the report.

Yep, it was fun!  Lots of fish.  That was my first time fishing that far north!
