Title: New Daiwa Regal LT 3000 series Spinning Reel
Post by: chrisD46 on November 09, 2022, 05:59:31 AM
I just picked up the above spinning reel in a 6:2:1 gear ratio to mate with a Dobyns Sierra 703 spinning rod for Senkos , Flukes , Ned Rigs , etc. For only $60 it comes with a whopping 22 lbs. of drag (if required) and is very smooth  . In time , I will probably pick up a couple of more - great reel and value for the price : https://daiwa.us/collections/spin-reels/products/regal-lt .

I have an old Daiwa Regal 2500 spinning reel that is over 20 yrs. old and still alive and kicking.

IMHO the Regals have always been a solid choice for a good reel at a great price.!

I, like ST had Regals way back when.  Solid work horse reels and great value.  Great choice.

Thanks for the review.  I have been using their Fuego and Excelor spinning reels and like them.  If I decide I need another, I may try the Regal.  I like that they have made them lighter.
