Title: Dakota 12V 100AH Lithium question
Post by: Hoop Goobner on December 31, 2022, 12:37:50 PM
So I've upgraded to Lithium this winter.  I bought 3 Dakota 12v 100ah to run my ghost tm in 36v.  I have not put them in the boat yet, but I'm getting ready to.  I feel like a dummy asking this, but the terminals on these batteries are screw in.  They don't have a pre-existing terminal post.  The bolts that screw in to become your terminals bottom out, so how on earth do you get tight connections?

Just use a lock washer. I haven't had any problems with the bolts loosening on my lithiums. Of course if your cables still have old lead post connectors, you'll need to replace them with the appropriate terminals.
