Post by: strkpr on January 06, 2023, 09:10:11 PM
The stench of death permeated the air and the birds chirped joyfully, as if oblivious to the situation. The Sunrose 1/06/23 to uncover the the death of Peacocks that lined the unending miles of shoreline.
Started fishing at safe light and off the water by 10am. Boated 11 small Peacocks and a few Oscars and Mayan cichlids. What P's are left hit fast and furious until the sun was fully up
Full moon and the end of a passing cold front (windy-blue bird skies) water temp72.2.

Appreciate your reports as always Tommy, thank you. I was aware of the fish kill, didn't know it was that significant.

Tommy thanks for the info.  Mother nature keeping exotics in check.  The good news is the ones that survive will become more resistant to sudden cold spells, and the Gators should be well feed for months to come.
