Our weather has been just plain awful. Rain every couple days, wind blowing non stop, one cold front after another..:.. But we are still catching fish! Picked up my new Truth rod Friday and has to go try it out. 6-8 Medium, Mod Fast Taper. Only had an hour or so to fish and caught three. Ran across my bro in law with a couple first time fisherpeople from Hawaii and he was introducing them to fishing The Truth. While we were talking my niece lost a good one. Saturday morning was right around freezing with high winds. I waiting til about 10:30 and then went. Managed 8, missed a couple video clips somehow. I considered it a great day given the conditions, right up until I snapped the shaft on my old maxxum when I dead centered a stump fighting the wind.... Ran into a customer on the way out and he had just lost a big one on a GooseBerry worm. Found a less than a year old Fortrex a couple hrs from here. Guy is a firefighter and we have some friends in common. He gave me the hookup and knocked a couple hundred off the price. Imma load him up with worms to say thanks! Enjoy!
