The Rebel Tracdown Minnow. This was a sleeper jerk bait for me. I was introduced to this jerk bait on a recent Peacock trip, where I had the good fortune of fishing with FlatsNBays, and a gentlemen named Jeff Samsel, who works for Pradco. Pradco is the parent company of several well known fishing companies. Rebel lures, Booyah, Yum, Heddon, are just a few of the companies that comprise of the Pradco brand. The purpose of this outing was to put several of Pradco's brand name lures and soft plastics through their paces against our South Florida Peacock Bass.
During the trip, we were fishing with several Pradco lures pretty successfully, until FlatsNBays decided to give the Tracdown minnow a shot. Well, Flat's switch to the Tracdown Minnow, ramped up what was a fun outing already, into OVERDRIVE!! Flat'sNBays peacock catch and quality rate skyrocketed!! Every time I helped him release a peacock, before I made it back to my trolling motor, he was fighting another peacock!! :o :o

Flat's found what I call the sweet spot for this jerk bait. He figured out the correct cadence and dive depth that drove those Peacocks crazy!! The erratic movements coupled with that bright gold flash, was too irresistible to those peacocks.
If you're looking to up your peacock game, then give the Rebel Tracdown Minnow a try. You will not be disappointed!

Thanks Lou, I have several similar but not gold.!! Gold has always been a hot color in the #9 rapala stick-baits, for Peas.
I like the Rebel Tracdown Minnow because it carries some weight and has an enticing back and forth darting action that drove the peacocks crazy. I tried other jerkbaits and tHey just loved the Tracdown so much more. Best of all, it's affordable. I'm going to go on Lurenet and order some more.
