I have been itching to get a frog bite going, and what better place to do that then Marshlands.
The early bite has been on fire lately, so I launched at zero dark thirty. By the time I finished setting up, dawn was approaching.
15 minutes into the outing, a 6 pound bass slurped my frog. I reared back hard and stuck her good. After a nice battle, I boated her. Failed to take a still picture. But, if you check out my Instagram, I made a Reel showcasing the catch. ;)
The trip only got better as the morning progressed. I quickly noticed that the bass were not blowing up on the frog . I had to watch the frog closely because it was a slurping bite. Rare that all the bites were like this, but when it happens, it's a waiting game.

I threw some other stuff with success as well. But the frog was the main lure today. Wrapped up by 11am, and successfully boated 32 bass.

Thanks for reading!
As Roland would probably say, "Damn, son"! Good job. I went fishing with my brother in law yesterday in South Dakota and got skunked, lol.
Nice job Lou, they probably haven't seen a fisherman since the heat index went to 110. Great job!
Nice job. Going to start calling you "Froggy" again.

Could you please elaborate some on that connection method you're using with your braid?
