I posted a report on Truman Lake from the other day where I practiced for another tournament attempt. As it turns out I couldn't fish it, but that didn't prevent me from making a video. And that's my story.

Dale, tks for sharing the trip with us. Congrats on finding the fish. Looks like Truman is low also?
Sorry to hear about your tow vehicle going down on ya. Hope you're able to get it back up and operational soon.
I checked out the video where Mike gave you all those boxes of baits. That was amazing the condition those baits and especially those Uncle Josh Jars were in. Old School Stuff ya got to love it.

Actually that's Truman at FULL POOL. All those years of flooding has killed everything within 20-30' of the original bank. And I caught bass Wednesday on some ALRON worms that Mike gave me, too. I know you appreciate the magic in that.

Dale's fishing style is pure Ozarkian and a good teaching video. Watch an old school Ozark angler fish and some things become apparent. Fishing isn't about the boat, the derby shirt or the latest $25 lure. It's about catching bass. In summer, a rod, reel and a few baits. A Spook for early morning surface action. A worm or large grub at 12-15 feet on a hot, summer day. And a Little George (always) rigged on deck. White bass fishing is good to great at Truman.

Yes sir, I enjoy watching those videos.
I remember the trips I had with Marvin Deckard out of Bucksaw back in the mid 90's on Truman. Big Worms, Spinnerbaits, Baby (- 1) crankbaits and that 3/8oz jig rigged with an Uncle Josh trailer. Fish the bushes, coves with ponds, fence rows, standing timber, laydowns and channel breaks ;) Make sure the drags were tighten down ~bb
What is a "drag"?

Dale, :-* That would be Cool as all get out. As of right now we're coming up to Missouri at the end of Aug. My wife's family has an Annual Reunion the last Sunday of Aug. The reunion will be held in Bunker, Missouri. After the reunion we'll more that likely drive up to St. Charles and visit my sister. On the way home we'll stop in SE Missouri > Greenville / Dexter Missouri to visit more relatives.
Somehow I'm going to plan at least 1 or 2 days possibly to stop in Florence for a visit. Once I get this figured out I'll drop you a email so we can work on the details.
Perfect Donald- let me know.
