Our cat Lily passed away sometime overnight. We kind of knew it was coming but it still hits pretty hard.
She was 16 years old.
Josh was there the day she was born and he picked her out as the kitten he wanted when the time came they could go to new homes.
She was the runt of the litter, but at one point ended growing to be over 20 lbs. and was very long. She was the only one of the 7 kittens born that day that lived past 2 years.
I know it may seem silly to some since she was a cat, but she was a part of our family for a long time and we are really going to miss her.

Condolences.
Jim sorry to hear of the pet lost. They do become a part of the family.
Very sorry to hear it Jim, my condolences to you and your family. Tough losing a pet for sure...
We have loved 5 cats over our marriage. All had a distinct personality, enjoyed life and returned our love. Four years since the last one passed and we miss all of them. A hard time for you, my friend.
