Title: Everglades Holiday Park 11-7-23 (Late Afternoon)
Post by: JHAB on November 08, 2023, 03:40:03 PM
Conditions:
Skies: Light clouds
Wind: 8-10 NE (decreasing}
Temps: 82 and cooling
Current: None
Water Temps: 76
Water clarity: Clear
Bass Boated: 32
Fishing Time: 4p-6p

Decided to try a late afternoon trip like the old days when I had a job! Launched around 3 and ran out C11ext hitting a few known Pea spots with 3 little Peas on Original raps. Figured it was too early and did a leisurely run to North end Miami canal. Worked way back and about 4ish started seeing signs of fish, fished Pup Spook, Raps and Blue wacki's. All produced fish. Wound up with 32 small bass, huge gar, few Oscars. Quit just before 6 and ran back to a dark ramp. Had the place to myself and was a very pleasant eve. Catching a few fish helped too!!
Safe Fishing,
Jim

That sounds like fun. I loved fishing Holiday back in the day. Nice to have it all to yourself.
