Where's the "sweet spot" in price vs performance? I fish with braid mostly, FWIW.
I've been building with the CRB LZR guides on my casting rods, using spiral wraps, and I don't have any complaints, but was curious about what else is out there.
I know Fuji titanium Torzite are kind of the top tier guides right now, but I'm also skeptical about them being worth the price. Maybe they are, I've never fished with them.
What are y'all's thoughts on guide trains?
Where does money stop buying you any discernible performance gains?
I think you are where you need to be, any higher in price is just bragging rights.
