Title: Northern California DELUGE coming.
Post by: Hobious on January 16, 2024, 04:16:25 PM
i'm hearing 4 inches of rain expected this upcoming weekend!!!  WOW!!

our lakes are really going to be healthy this spring.  last spring was so weird with respect to fishing becasue our empty lakes filled up in a month.  the fish were freaked out all spring.

this time, it is more gradual and the lakes were not puddles to begin with.

my Secret lake is filling up!!!  lets go California!!  let it rain.

Fast rising lakes also present a debris problem. I remember Oriville so full of floaters you could do anything but idle.

Great to hear California is staying on track with a solid weather pattern again.

Check in with Pat Dilling here on the site before you do, he still fishes it regularly. It was a favorite of mine...
