8 and a quarter is a giant. I remember when 20 years ago a 4 pounder was worthy, 30 years ago a four pounder was a wall mount.

It was a true giant and beat the long-standing state record from Twin Lakes by quite a bit.  The previous record was 7 lbs. 4 ounces.  I'm little surprised at where it was caught.  I didn't expect it to come from that reservoir.
