Ive been enjoying my kayak for the last few months, and I think I've got most of my accessories dialed in and taken care of. I will post below a little about each accessory or add on.
First up is my Garmin UHD depthfinder with Yak Attack mount. I installed it on my left side to be out of the way while fishing. I was going to go with a larger size but settled on the 5" because I like to stand and fish and any larger might get in the way. I replaced the Old Town transducer plate with a Navarre transducer plate which is shallower and tucks the transducer closer to the hull by an extra inch. I power the Garmin with a Nocqua 10 amp battery that easily allows for all day power.
Next accessory is 2" seat risers by Yakintime for the rear of the seat. This makes the seat at a less of an incline position and gives you more power when pedaling. It also is more comfortable and makes it much easier to pop up and stand up. My wife liked the risers so much that I had to order a pair for her kayak.
Next up is an aftermarket seat cushion. I am testing the Kayak Kushion brand and really like it. It comes with a removable cover and straps so that you can attach it to your seat for travel. It's super comfortable.
Next accessory is a tool holder that was custom made by Bradget Designs to fit in the side tackle compartment. It holds pliers scissors and a fish gripper. I like it but worry that it might be made a little thin. Time will tell.
Next up is a floating prop nut by Navarre. I ran over some fishing line while on the water already and it was nice not having to worry about dropping the prop nut in the water when I had to take the prop off.
Next up is an accessory plate by Navarre that screws into the spot meant for a Micro Power Pole so no drilling was needed. I attach my flag at times to it on the track slot in the plate.
For fishing in busier waters, I bought a flag and LED light combo from Yak Attack for increased visibility. The pole can be track mounted or placed in a rod holder. I like it so far, super easy.
And finally, my kayak cart for transporting the kayak to the water. I'm glad a paid the extra money and bought a good quality cart. The Yak Attack Bunkster cart is fully adjustable to fit the hull configuration of any kayak. The cool thing about it is you can quickly take the entire cart apart in a manner of seconds and store it in your kayak after a long haul to the water. Comes with 2 kickstands that easily pop up and out of the way during transport. I'm super happy with this purchase.
Looks nice. I might have to invest in a good cart for places where I cannot get my trailer to.
Masterbasser, I like placing the cart about midway on the cart. I load everything into the kayak and it's a breeze transporting to the water. The trick is the placement of the cart. Too far back and you have to carry the weight of the rig while dragging.
I highly recommend the Bunkster cart. It was a little pricey but worth it. A lot of people like the lower price Vevor cart on Amazon too.
Almost forgot this one. I bought the Yak Attack Black Pack Pro box. It has 6 rod holders and is 16 X 16 and will hold a bunch of 3700 size tackleboxes.

I have the next size down. keep an eye out on the screws. I find one loose occasionally. I think it is how the box flexes that works the fasteners loose.
