Title: how is the LMB fishing in Washington?
Post by: Hobious on July 26, 2024, 08:22:49 AM
headed out on vacation.

wife and I are going to look at some retirement town possibilities.

I think I will kayak bass fish until I check off this mortal coil...I want to bass fish when I retire.

used to have a guy on here who posted up regularly.

from his posts, I'd say it's outstanding.  but probably all about 'where' and 'when' you go.  like everywhere.

not sure it's as ubiquitous as some other states.  and I'd probably guess that it's a mostly overlooked fishery...

for a guy who knows, figures it out, bet it's a lot of fun.

do a search of Pacific NW Ron and his posts...

Not sure where you are thinking of locating, but I have heard good things about Potholes Reservoir.  Try a Google search for Bass Fishing at Potholes Reservoir.  Also if you are anywhere near the Columbia River there is world class smallmouth fishing there along with some largemouth in some of the sidewaters and tributaries.  Happy hunting
