Whats your thoughts on the Sierra 733? Spinnerbait or chatterbait rod? Spook? Thanks
If your throwing baits in the 1/2 + range I would go up 1 power to the 734

Small spook like the boyo, the 733 will serve you well. For everything else mentioned the 734
It's my go-to skipping rod. It and a 683.

Think I could get away with a Spook Jr? This would probably be the largest walking bait I would fish in my body of water. Also, thinking about a weightless lizard to drag through the weeds. Both techniques would be on 40lb braid. Think the 733 would work? Thanks

Maybe you can get away with a spook jr. That will all depend on your reel handling skills. In regards to fishing the lizard. I would lean towards a 734. Reason being, if your fishing in vegetation, the 734 has a better backbone, compared to the 733, when pulling the fish out of the cover. The 733 for me is more of open water technique type of rod for me.
Circling back to the spook jr. If that's the largest walking bait you will be using, I would recommend the Sierra 702, in the spinning reel class. That rod will cast the heck out of the spook jr.
i think the Sierra 733 is fine for walking baits. my style of working a topwater requires a rod with a flimsy tip. just me.
i do think the 733 is made for a unweighted 5" worm rigged Texas. the tip allows you to not make huge movements of the worm underwater.

For the spook jr, the 733 would be a good rod choice. The 703 would fit the bill even better, but that's just me. :)
i have one, and generally throw senko's and small swimbaits. around grass but not in grass. also, smaller cranks -- as has been said 734 is probably better for regular spooks although the 733 does make a good buzzbait rod in my opinion. as for your question, a spook Jr would be fine IMO
