I was on then phone with work when I walked into the house. just talking and I looked at the rod my wife placed in the hallway. I thought, "hmmm, the end cap is black". wait..second look, "the end cap is missing!"
I pick it up. snap a photo in case I needed evidence. and I told the caller, I had to go. I look inside and my rod is still there!!! most shippers typically tape on end to the cap so it doenst slide out. I go to then other cap to see, and my wife lifts the tube and the rod slides out. waaaaahhhh!! I got lucky!! I quickly check the rod and it is correct and seems undamaged. I return the work call and finish up that business.
afterwards..I noticed. the seller forgot to tape one end. it's not like I orders an UGLY STICK. hahahha...
I got lucky. sent the store an email, so they know. but whatever. this rod feels "LUCKY" already!!!
shwweeeewwww... That's what nightmares are made of.... Make sure to give it a good flex test on the first trip out ~shade

I bought this new Fury off of eBay, and as soon as I saw the tube, I knew. It almost had to be done on purpose with where its broke. Anyway, I came up on the short end. USPS said the seller had to file paperwork. I went back and forth and never got any satisfaction. I reckon I need to send it in for a replacement. Suck city.

dang...
I bought a vintage .22 rifle that came to me like that. the FFL guy called and asked, "did you buy a broken rifle to restore?"
me: "what do you mean? no"
hahah..I called UPS and they felt the box went thru the conveyor sideways and stopped and the next box came at it like a battering ram.
