About 6" of snow here on the gulf coast tonight and 24 degrees since around 7am. Low tonight in the low to mid teens and won't get above freezing til tomorrow afternoon. A near record snowfall for us, have to go back to 1895 for more.

We got about 4 inches and some sleet with 2 days of sub freezing weather so far on the Texas Gulf Coast about Houston area.  Supposed to start a warm up today or tomorrow with rain for a few days, go figure.  So far we have been blessed with power so all is well.

So far we have been pretty good, one exposed spigot partially froze and is leaking so the water bill will be a killer this month, but that is nothing compared to the last time we got a bad freeze, we were without hot water for over a week.  Don't understand why it happened since we did wrap the faucets like they said to do. Jan said that she has had problems with that spigot leaking for a few years now, news to me, but oh well maybe not be a weather related issue after all.

Ya'll be safe for sure if you're out driving.  All that nasty snow missed us by 60miles.  I live in Central Texas between Dallas / Ft. Worth and Austin.  All that White Stuff was above us and below us.  We've had the Cold weather during the night and sometimes all day long.

We're starting to get some of the warm weather moving into our area now.
