I have been very fortunate to have had several guide trips over the last couple of weeks. These clients were from different parts of the country and one was from out of the country. Each of these anglers wanted to take on the artificial fishing challenge in the Everglades! The artificial challenge basically means, fishing without the use of live bait.
As I take a step back and break down each of these trips. The artificial challenge is not an easy challenge especially if the angler is not well versed with using a rod and reel. Throw in proper lure placement, wind, rain, and fishing from a moving boat into the mix, and you have quite the challenge on your hands. ~sweat
I am happy to report however, that despite these challenges, every one has had a fun on their outings! ~c~
The boat landed over 150 largemouth, and a few peacocks, spread out amongst these trips. Not too shabby considering none of these anglers have ever fished the Everglades before! :o

Good for you, I'm glad you had nothing but smiling faces after the trip. Are conditions about the same out there?

Thank you George. As far as the water levels, they continue to drop.
