Post by: topdsm0138 on April 12, 2025, 07:14:36 PM
I have a chance to puck a few up for cheap and now that they've been on the market for a while, anyone been using them? How are they holding up for you? Likes and dislikes?

I have 2 of the 2000 spinning reels. I really like them! For the price point they are good reels. They look and feel durable. Clients like them too. I'm sure the bait casting models are as good too.

Tiny boat, but a big deck.

Sounds good. Think I'll follow through and pick them up this week. Thanks

Well, I got my spinning and casting reels in, but they sent green instead of the blue that I orderd. Not a big deal as I'm goi g to use them anyways.

Bummer on the colors. I like the fact you can match the reels to the rod. Nonetheless, report back. Curious about what you think about them.

Just wanted to check in on this thread, sorry I missed it early, but what do you think?

I love the few I have... All baitcaster though

So far, LOVE them. That caster will shoot a lighter lure with minimal effort and cranks the fish in like a winch.

The spinning reel feels extremely light compared to my other reels.

Hats off to Dobyns on these reels.
