Title: Long Pond Bass Fishing Report 01/07/07
Post by: mess93 on January 07, 2007, 07:35:48 PM
Took the boat out to Long Pond this Morning with SUBTMFISHIN to do a little fishin and show him how to use his baitcaster.  Wasn't that long ago that hesjustabassin showed me how to use mine. ~c~ :)  Who would of thought we'd still be fishing in a boat in January.  Some crazy weather.  I love this Global warming ~sun.  Anyways the water temp was 45deg and the air was around 50.  Didn't have any luck but I did however get to test out my monstrous 9.8hp mercury outboard after changing out the impellor last night and reinsullating the hood.  Much quieter.  I also managed to lose my trailer liscence plate  ~rant so I get to hang out at the DMV for who knows how many hours to get it replaced.

Sorry to hear about the lack of fishing Chad. Long Pond is one of the toughest places around.

Mess93 and I went out, with his Tim Allen "HOME IMPROVED BINFORD 9.8hp motor", tried to take names, kick some caboose!! What we got was a quieter motor, our names taken by the fish, our caboose kicked, I lost a new rattle lure, and a boat trailer licence plate  ~rant ~rant :'( :'(  But the best thing of them all was, we were able to go fishing or at least practice our casting  :)  :) Wyussap Lake, DO NOT GO, lake to LOW to launch period!!!!!!
