Title: just bought a new Johnny Morris reel.
Post by: burglure on March 13, 2007, 08:51:44 AM
I just bought a new Johnny Morris baitcasting reel, 10 bearings, and silky smooth from BPS.  They were on sale for 80 dollars and then they had the old reel trade-in that took off 15 dollars, which brought it down to 65 dollars.  Great deal.

I got my first one a couple years ago and had to return it.  I am not sure what was wrong, but every single cast resulted in a overrun - and even my friends couldn't figure it out.  So I returned it and they gave me another new one.

Mine has 11 bearings and is an awesome reel.  Smooth like butter.
