Title: Building Skirts for Spinnerbaits and Jigs
Post by: 92Nitro190TF on April 25, 2007, 12:14:25 PM
Hello,
Is there a place to buy the material to build custom skirts for Spinnerbaits and jigs?  I can find the rubber collars but not the skirt material.

The skirts that you can buy don't exactly match the hatch for me and I would love to custom build my skirts!  Thanks for your help!

Bass Pro Shops has a complete kit to make skirts.  I tired it and like it so I can "match the hatch" right on the water and make up hard to find skirts when ever I need them.

Thanks for the links Karl. I have been looking for a long time for a source for living rubber skirts. Looks like Barlows Tackle might have it.

this is where i get all mine at
i tried the skirt kit from BPS and hated it the strands were to stiff form my liking so i went to these guys and they are good to deal with and have a ton of materials for lure making and all kinds of stuff from molds to pots and everything you will need and some decent prices too
