Hi my name is Joe Kinard. I'm 28 years old and I live in the Springfield, MO area. I have had a passion for fishing all my life and like everyone else on this site I have the dream of making a living while doing what I love. I am currently a space management analyst for Bass Pro Shops, Inc. For years I have fished mostly buddy tournaments with friends. Now I have become more focused on individual tournaments to see what I can do and determine if I can realize my goals. As any successful person will tell you, you can do anything that you believe in and are committed to. Everyone who has become great, no matter what industry they were in, had someone, at some point, take a chance on them and give them their shot. Joe, what tournament trail are you going to be actively fishing? how big of an area are you willing to cover?
I have founded a club here in Missouri and I am fishing it along with some regional buddy bass tournaments that I had committed to. I will fish anywhere in the country and have fished from Indiana to Florida. I have fished natural lakes and deep reservoirs. Next season I will fish in more nationally recognized circuts such as BFL, BASS weekend series, or American Bass Anglers. I will fish as many as I can afford and with help could fish more.
