Title: New to site
Post by: Okie Basser on June 29, 2007, 02:08:39 PM
I live in Lawton, OK. I work at the Goodyear tire and rubber company. Goodyear has a few club tournament's that i fish, not able to fish many of them because there on Sundays. I am also a member of a local bugggy club called Bass Stalkers. I fish every day i'm off. I spend most of my time at the Whichita Wildlife refuge fishing all the small lakes (some would call ponds) in my buggy and tube. I grew up fishing Lawtonka,Ellsworth,Ft.Cobb,Waurika,Comanche,Vanderwork,Crowder and also spent a lot of time at Mountain Lake and Murray. I joined the site to learn new techniques and find some new lakes to visit. Maybe even get some information on clubs close to Lawton.

If you ever plan to make it up to Norman and Lake Thunderbird let me know and I can show you around. Welcome to the site, it is the best out there.

Thanks, Don. I have a brother in-law who coaches at Westmore just up the road from Norman. We've been talking about trying to fish some of the lakes close to him. If any others around OKC would be worth our time please let me know. If your ever coming around Lawton to fish let me know. Thanks again.
