Title: Help with Sardis Lake
Post by: Stump bumper on September 20, 2007, 08:53:03 PM
I have a tourney with Army Recruiters on lake Sardis on 6 Oct. I have never been there. Any tips on what part of the lake to fish or what to use would be appricated.

I spent the weekend in Clayton, and fished Sardis Sat afternoon and Sunday. It was my first time on Sardis. The water was down from the map on my GPS but was still 2ft high acording to the state web site. The water was dark and stained but not really muddy.
All the grass was up on shore and came out to about 3-5 ft but no submerged grass. We fished a small 6 boat tourney and I came in 2nd. Big bass was only 4lbs, everyone caught alot of 10-13in fish but very few over 14in.
