Whats your favorite jig trailer to use?  When and why do you use it?

Zoom super chunk. It's the only trailer I use. If I'm using a jig I have one on.

One of the new wavy leg frogs in plastic if the water is warmer.

I use a beaver style bait as a trailer on my jigs.  I shouldn't tell you this but I did. ~shhh

Superpork. They have proved to be the best possible jig trailer available IMO, if you are targeting big bass with jigs.

I had a wild hair one day and started using Gambler Little Otters on my flipping jigs.  The bass seem to like them...

I usually use chunk type trailers from Case Plastics or Zoom. However, and I'm in no manner associated with them, Cache Custom Lures has some great trailers too. I like them better than the others, and they've got some real nice colors you won't normally find.  ;)

Old guy, old school. I fish with Uncle Josh pork chunks. IMO  :) pork produces bigger fish than plastic!

My favorite jig trailer of all time was called a Dry Rind.  I don't know why it's not made anymore.  I loved how you didn't have to return it to a messy bottle, how it would never, ever tear, and how long it held fish attractant.  Does anyone remember these trailers?

Yep fishin_fool! Looked like an orange peel, if I'm not mistaken, but leather, nice and soft, right?

In cold water the best trailer for me is either a #1 or #11 Uncle Josh pork frog.  As the water warms up and with lighter jigs a Zoom chunk, or Paca chunk works very well, but with big 1/2 to 1 1/2 oz jigs the new Berkley Chigger Craw gets my vote.  Have used it all year long and it is close to out fishing even the Uncle Josh pork frogs.

That's the one!  I gave up the search years ago cause I just couldn't find them.  I didn't know anyone personally who used them, either.  Those trailers sure were great, you could use them in any water temp, leave them on a jig to dry up only to soften up once it was exposed to water.  Man, the colors and patterns didn't even fade!  Maybe thats why they quit making them.  They were so durable, no one ever replaced theirs!  lo

Vertical Lures Chunk X has a sweet design.  The head (the part you slide up the shank) is small so you don't loose any hook gap when the weed guard is collapsed.

I use a variety of trailers tailored to the conditions. However when it comes to a chunk I like the zoom super and jr. chunks.

I as of recently just started getting alot more confidence using jigs, and the Zoom Super Chunk and Chunk Jr. have been the key.
