Where are you located? I have a TXP 27 that you can try if you're anywhere near me. I'm not familiar with the pro series, or the set up for a 202 so much, more experience with the 210. I had a Yamaha 27T on my 2003 210/250, when it slung a blade they replaced it with a 27T1. That prop was a little slower than the 27T so I sold it. I tired the TXP's when they first started pushing them a couple of years ago, and tried three with 3 different results before I finally found one out of the box that helped my numbers. I sent it to Mark Croxton and had it bal/blueprinted. It's a strong prop, carries a load better than any prop I've tried so far. Your top end numbers won't vary too much with a load to light. I would think with a 202/225 set up, you should be able to push 80 pretty hard, at the very least a strong 78-79. It might take some serious set up work/time.

BlazerTaz, there is a TXP dealer here on the boards, Sanderson Marine, you might give them a yall. If you need it in a hurry, contact Greg Enlow at and tell him I sent you. Greg is also a TXP rep, runs a Blazer 202 and will be real familiar with your setup. He also has some of the TXP's balanced and blueprinted ahead of time, so it may save you that much more time. He knows his stuff and is a good guy. ;) I'm quite sure the TXP 27 will give you better numbers than you're seeing.

Just ordered a 26p txp from a rep that runs a blazer. He beleaves that the 26p will be the right prop for my rig. if not to send it back and he will replace it with a 27p. He said that the 26p txp is equivelent to a 27p pro series. I hope he is right.

All of the TXPs run strong in pitch. If you bought it from Greg, he knows what he is talking about, cause I taught him. ;D

Hey Taz, did you get the prop yet? Keep us informed when you do, I'd love to hear what your setup does with it. I just got through the ten hour break in on a new power head myself, about to have the ten hour checkup done.
