Title: tournament results?

I am attempting to put together a fishing resume and i am wondering how much will potential sponsors look at how well you do in tournaments?

I don't put them on mine! I can't say that I have been asked either. It depends on what you are going for as far as sponsorship.  It gives you creditability but I wouldn't clutter it up if I did use them.

Doing good in larger events that have a stage and will get winners printed in the local papers or national magazine will benifit. What a potential sponsor is looking for is impressions, if your win got him more exposure than just the folks at the actual event then yes this is a great thing to put in your resume.

However, if the win didn't create extra exposure then just the number of events you fish, number of particapants at these events, and number of spectators is more important than your finish.

A sponsor wants to know you'll be walking across the stage - large tourney win will do nothing but help the cause.
