Title: Saturday 3-15 fishing report
Post by: Fishin247365 on March 16, 2008, 01:31:50 PM
Went out to NRD lake to get the boat out and throw some of the new lures. Started at 7:45am, 26 degrees with around a 10 degree wind chill. Fished till 11:30. I think I got one bite the whole time, and that was just a quick bump at my jig. Could have just been my teeth chattering to! It was cold, but good to get out. Warmest water was 43 degrees. This a result of the nice weather we had earlier in the week. Water clarity was good, and I saw a lot of schools of baitfish on the graph around 3.5 to 5 foot deep (this lakes deepest spot is around 15 ft). Fished vibrashock for the first time and was impressed how it came through some cedar brush piles, hard jerkbaits, soft lunker lure whipsticks (great action), and also tried a the jig.
