Hey guys, I am a new member to the forum. I came across it when doing my recent research for FastCat boats. I just started my research today on these boats. I am 29 years old and I am a bass tournament angler and recreational angler. I currently own a 19' Ranger Commanche. I am interested in the FastCat boats because I moved to Port Saint Lucie, FL a couple years ago(originally from Coral Springs, FL) and desire to fish inshore saltwater in the Indian River. I want a boat that can do both.
The fastcat website isn't loading. Hopefully it will be up and running.
I read most of the topics here and was impressed with the positive feedback until someone mentioned a consumer who made a website www.fastcatsucks. Please someone tell me if that story is real. I saw the website and was discouraged but the photos on there.

Thanks for the reply. I will call you today. I want to get prices and see options for the boats. I would also like to test drive one. I am only 1.5 hours north of the Hallandale facility, which from what I researched is where the boats are being built.

John, Errol will assist you with directions to the factory. I visited Errol in January and saw the FastCats. They are a thing of beauty. They use the finest parts and materials to build these boats. I will be putting in an order for a new boat later this year. I am sure you will be more than satisfied. I currently own a Champion, that I am selling. I look forward to hearing about your boat. Tight Lines!!

Thanks man. I am very attached to my Ranger and I always said it would take a very special boat to replace it. I am hoping FastCat is just that kind of boat.

Speaking from personal experience, once you've owned a FastCat, it's hard to fish from a conventional bassboat. The stability, the amount of room, the freedom of movement in the boat and the storage is second to none!

John, I have owned Rangers, and now a Champion, and they were all great boats. I have always wondered about having something better, different, and special. I first spotted these boats in Bass and Walleye Boats magazine several years ago and I never forgot about them. This past January, when I made plans to fish in an FLW Series event at Okeechobee, I knew that I would arrange a visit to see Errol. When I went into the building holding several of these boats, I knew I had found something. I think you will agree once you get to see these boats for yourself. Checkout the hinges used on the lids- they are top shelf, just like all the other hardware on the boats. And, as I understood Errol, you have a lot of options available to you. Dang, I already had cabin fever, now I am getting all itchy to get out. I am in Omaha, Nebraska and I fish lots of places including Lake Erie, and major lakes in Missouri and Oklahoma (Nebraska ahs lakes but you cant call them MAJOR). When I get it, I plan to call my FastCat BELRAD (as in flying "Below Radar"). Good luck to you!!
