Title: Add me to the Xpress family
Post by: paxpress on November 21, 2008, 09:08:48 PM
Although I haven't said much on the boards here, I bought an Xpress last February.

I hated to sell my BassCat, but I found someone that would take good care of her, and let me take a ride in her from time to time ;) .

I bought a  HD17DB with a 90/65 Merc jet, stick steer w/forward driver seat.  It has a tunnel hull cut in the transom for even shallower running, and a 109lb. Motorguide up front for heavy Susquehanna river current.   A Lowrance 522C maps the skinny trails I have to follow to get to the smallmouths.  It drafts in 10" of water on the drift and in will run in 6" of water on plane.  Max speed is 30mph gps.

I will post pics soon.

Sounds like a great boat, that 109 should let you scream in calm water.   :)
