Title: McCook Lake, SD 8/30/09
Post by: bassackwards on August 31, 2009, 01:47:35 PM
Fished McCook Lake on Saturday. What a beautiful day to be on the water. Caught 8 in about 4 hours. Biggest one was around 2.5 lbs. Caught them on a watermelon red curly tail worm.

Thanks for the report - were you fishing shallow stuff or mid-deep stuff?

My depth finder kicked the bucket right before i moved up this way. Im not sure of the depth but I was pitching laydowns along the shoreline that doesnt have houses on it. Are you located out this way?

Not anymore - living in FL however like keeping tabs on what is happening up your way as well.  Family all in MN.  Thanks for the reply :)
