Title: East Fork at night
Post by: OHSKS on September 16, 2009, 04:48:07 PM
Got a nice 4 lber fishing a drop off with a Flitterbait at 10 pm.  We caught a few smaller bass with the same bait during the day casting up against the shore and by fishing drop offs with structure.  Got 8 all together all on the Flitterbait.

NO rattles.  I like this bait because it can be worked deep with a lift drop, or cast and reeled.  Most of my bass have come with the lift drop fishing structure on a drop off.

Looks just like the size shad that are swimming thick in there too, match the hatch  :-*

The flitterbait is about 2 inches so it does match the millions of 2 inch shad that are in East Fork.

There is good un's in that lake but hard to catch at times. Shad heaven for sure, plus them Wipers tear up the young bass too. Lot's of crappies and cats in the mix too.
I like shooting them carp at night with my fishin' bow  ~bb now that's fun  lo

I've heard some good bassin stories from East Fork.  There is supposedly a 7-8 lber in there that just keeps growing.  Good luck catching up to this beast, Deerhunter.
