Has anyone tried the new trokar hooks? If so, how do they compare to Gamakatsu?
I am a gamakatsu user but when the money is on the line I switch to Trokar. They are expensive (main reason I only use them in tournaments) but they are by far the sharpest hook produced right now (I have used most). Their flipping hook is fantastic. It's sounds funny to say but I'll use my gammy's when I am prefishing and need to be able to shake a fish lo With the trokar they are so sharp that the slightest pressure and they will come threw the plastic and stick your fish.
VERY sharp!! I won a pack of the finesse hooks on here (Thank You UB!!) lol, and they are awesome..I have used them alot in deeper water and don't have to use hardly any pressure at all when setting the hook. By far the sharpest hook I have ever used, will definitely buy more.
Anyone interested in the new Trokar Hooks, here's a chance to win a free pack. :-*
