Post by: Pablo4x4 on June 20, 2010, 11:02:23 PM
So I went to the family pond again and something great happened. First, my daughter caught her first 3 all by her self Bass. No setting the hook for her, no casting for her. Second, I cought another Bass so I could wight it in for statistics  ~read

It is a little larger that the one from 2 weeks ago. I'll measure the fishing rod later and let you guys know the size of it. But for now, the weight. 1.1 Lb.

Caught with a 4" senko, Gamagatzu size 1 worm hook and Sufix line.

Here it is:

Thats great that your daughter caught her first bass by herself. She will probably allways remember that. I know I still remember mine.

Thanks BK and pawpaw! It's been great to be able to share the whole experience with her! She came along with me the day we released Blue Gill, she was also with me the first day that we caught the first Bass so it's kind a becoming a family thing!!

It sur was a funny situation. We went the ore to weight in some cattle that we have in the feed lot to check how they were gaining weight. But first we decided to fish a little. After she caught that fish she didn't want to go weight the cattle. My mother had to stay with her for a little longer time of fishing while I went to work on the cattle!! I am sure Thant I am forming another bass addict!
