Title: Hybrid stripers
Post by: OHSKS on November 16, 2010, 07:38:33 AM
My buddy and I went to East Fork Lake in SW Ohio the other day and got into a bunch of small hybrids.  Most were caught after dark on a Chartreuse Pearl Gizz 3.  We caught a couple before dark on top water baits and one on a Flitterbait.  Here's a small one caught on a top water right before dark.

Yes they are fun.  We hooked some beast earlier this year that I had to use my striper tackle on.  Yes they do pull hard.

They pull like a smallmouth and are a ton of fun. Especially if you get into a school of them.
