Every time I login to this site, it refuses to accept my password and then brings up a Login Error screen where I have to retype my username, password and the verification letters and question thingy... has something changed recently where everyone has to do this every time they login? It is so annoying having to do this instead of clicking one login button at the upper left side.
I have this problem at work (also started recently), but assumed it was because my browser clears cookies and everything when I close it.
At home, I have no trouble.
We had to institute some additional security measures because the site has been under attack recently. I know it is an inconvenience but it has to be done. If you are on your home or private computer, try staying logged in "forever"; that way you don't have to log in everytime.
Me too...it's a real pain in the bass.
It does it to me at home but not at work. I am logged in as forever on both.
Logging in forever works. I only have to produce a password to my wife when I have been fishing tooooo long.
I just recently started having the same problem with the login. I was hoping there would be a simple remedy for the problem but now I'm seeing it works on some computer's and not others. I've always checked stay logged in forever. So what's the solution for the login delema?
I'm not a computer expert so I don't know the solution. I use the stay logged in forever and I never have to log in, except on a very few occasions. I have asked our computer person if he can shed some light.
I know we have to keep the security measures in place to protect the site.
Thanks Mike I know security is paramount just hoping there's a simple solution. Thought it might have been my computer that's why I asked I am by all measures a computer dweeb. lo

Mine's just the opposite. Stays logged on at home but not at work (did I just say that)? Looking at UB at work? For shame.
Does it to me also both at work and home. The only time it does it is when I clear all cookies. Since it is for security, No complaints :)

Understood! Just wanted to make sure there wasn't something else out of the ordinary going on.
It has done it to me, also. I use the "forever" option, but I still had to sign back in at home. Sometimes it lets me in, sometimes it doesnt.
Thanks guys.. Were trying to look into fixing this/making it easier to login while keeping everything secure.
Alright guys we are trying out something new here, hopefully it won't cause any more issues.
There is no longer any login verification but we added "bot banlist" on the login pages. So if anyone notices anything unusual feel free to contact me.
This should help in terms of security and usability.
