Hey Y'all,
Went out fishing in this boat and am interested in purchasing it as I am 30 minutes from Lake "O".
Does anyone one have any input here? Boat ran nice. Engine ran great but was thinking about a jack plate in this shallow water.

Thanks for your input.
One just never knows with a used boat. If it's everything the add says it is I would think closer to $5500 to $6000 but not before getting the motor checked by someone I trusted.
In the end any boat is only worth what a person wants to pay for it and if you like it that is all that matters but getting the motor checked is always worth the time/$$$$$ better to know before hand that after you bought it should there be something wrong.
This is just the voice of reason...The price is way to high. When you say 1991 it sounds OK. When you say "over 21 yrs. old" it sounds completely different. Everything has only a certain number of heartbeats. I'm sure there are no ethanol friendly parts in that motor. I personally would not want to put $2,500 into rebuilding a 1991 motor...
P.S. $4,000 would be a fair price...A jackplate would not give you much in performance vs price. Good luck either way.
Thank you for your replies. I think you are both right and if the price can come down and my mechanic take a look at it. It might suffice until I sell my Mako to get me on the lake. The reason I mention the jack plate it due to water depth the average of 4' in Okeechobee and I want to get out of the hole a little easier without dusting my prop.
