Hi and welcome to UB.com and Korea!!

I'm not too familiar to the Daegu area, but I believe there is a small river close by the base. There should be bass in that river and just about and small pond, lake and streams in that area. Look for evidence around the banks (like empty worm packets). There are quite a few ponds in the Daegu area and there is a big pond/small lake in the middle of Daegu city called MoonChon Lake. Look for it on Google maps.

Hey I'm at Carroll as well, there's a few decent spots around here. Nothing too big swimming around though. I think our largest thus far is like 3lbs but we usually go out and catch 8-10 a piece. Send me a message and I'll give you my info!

Hi~ I am looking forward to 'fishing companions' out there in Daegu, South Korea.

Is there still anybody resorting to rivers near Daegu? This Autumn I find myself deeply absorbed in fishing for bass. I can say I am considerably new to fishing but have been developing my dexterity day by day. I usually resort to 'Cheongdo-Cheon' river, adjacent to the southern part of the city.

If you are interested, drop me a message. ~cf

Welcome to UB.com!
I have never fished that river personally, but I do know it is a popular river for bass. Enjoy this season, before too long everywhere in the Daegu area will be frozen  :blue
