It looks like everything thus far is going with out a hitch.
Based on previous posts, we know a couple of guys that can't go and a couple of teams that are planning on going. We need to give Rattle some rough numbers. ANY feedback from the members of The Club or the TCTC is needed and appreciated. ~fff
Well I guess the first couple things that come to mind with me is lodging and quantity fish.
Lodging, depending on where we fish there will have to be plenty of decent lodging close by. It would be awsome if there was an area that had several cabins close by or even on the water.
Quantity, granted when I fish a tournament I will fish for 5 quality bites over 100 quantity bites. But this will be a fun tournament for braggin rights or something of the like, so I would much prefer to catch Quantity. Which leads me to think that if we are going to do it before this summer is over that we should head to your neck of the woods Rattle, but if it looks like it will be fall before we get a solid date set then we have some good quantity water up here.
Now with that said we have a lake about 1.5 hours south of here called Grand bayou in Cashatta (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) and it can be alot of fun in the summer time but it is a slot lake. It has cabins right on the water that are really nice, they go for 85 bucks a night but they also sleep like 8 people comfortably so divided out it is a good deal. Just a thought.
I'm with Papa I think it should be a two day event that ends early on Sunday. No matter where we have the tournament it will be a drive of one of the clubs so my thoughts are if I get to go somewhere exciting and far away I would like to fish for two days. Take off Friday and get there and visit and get a decent nights sleep then fish and visit more then fish and head home kinda deal.
Just my ideas to get things started

I ordered maps from this guy:

I will let everyone know how they are.
What is the name of the State park? Is there any online info?
My best guess on north Louisiana folks is 4 teams (8 people) and 2 people from Alabama (Bo Crawford and partner). There is a chance that we could pick up one or two more people from north Louisiana.
I have not sold my gear yet but I am also in withdrawal. I was playing about 200 rounds of golf a year until about six months ago. The more I fish the less I want to play golf.
I know a wife (not mine...don't have one) that goes and sleeps in the truck until mid morning...but I won't name any names because she has TREMENDOUS power on this board.... >:D
We should have enough cabin space. Bring an airmattress...tie it to the dock...sleep on the water. ;D
They both have the same layout which is one double and two sets of bunks.
I've made the changes in the rules so make note of it.
Laurie, I just thought of something, you are liable to have withdawls from not being able to access the site for almost 5 days. If you need a fix just come on into town Friday and I'll let you use my computer for a few minutes. lo lo
Bassadict you sure you don't feel a cold coming on, pehaps a little cough and sneezing, progressively getting worse. Sounds like a sick day to me. lo
