Title: 50$ Rod And Reel Combo
Post by: BriggsBett on September 21, 2017, 03:28:26 PM
So recently I have been wanting to get another rod and reel combo since I only have one at the moment. The main reason I want want is so I don't go through bobber stoppers as fast and its also convenient to just switch to your other rod fast. But i'm not exactly sure what what to get. My budget it 50$, I would like a spinning combo and I would like cork but if not its ok. If any of you could respond with a good combo that I should consider getting that would be awesome

-Thanks!

Welcome to the UltimateBass Family we're glad you're here ~c~

There's lots of great deals out there.  Click on the link below just to see what one of our sponsors have to offer.

Spinning Combo  (https://www.outdoorproshop.com/Rod-Reel-Combos-s/4618.htm)

Other places to look also is Bass Pro Shop; Cabela's; Academy and Dick's Sporting Good.  Once in awhile Walmart has some pretty good deals.

Good luck with finding that right combo.

I hear a lot of people say Pflueger makes a great spinning reel for the money. Let us know how you like it when you get a chance to use it.

I use Pflueger spinning reels exclusively. I use the more expensive Patriarchs myself, but I also have the President model and have used the Trion in the past ( bought some for my kid when he was younger and was impressed) with very favorable results.

Good luck Briggs and let us know what you think once you get it and get a chance to fish with it some.  ~sun
