Got everything all packed up and ready to be loaded in the Expedition. Tomorrow morning I meet fellow Geezer Terry G and head west. Terry's Mrs is making some food for the group along with some fresh homemade bread that will still be warm when we meet in the morning. Can you imagine driving down the road with the smell of that fresh bread. I have a hunch some of it will never see Guntersville.

Ready for another day on the lake. Fishing a bit slow,hopefully today will be better. Group a bit subdued this year. We are missing our leader lee smith. Rain coming in tonite and rainy on Saturday and a lot cooler plus some wind. If it is raining on Saturday this old dog is gonna stay on the porch. No tough man competitions for me. Temps today up to 72 from its current 50.

Just got back home from Guntersville. 10.5 hours drive @ 576 miles. That is a hard day for an old man. Just thinking at least we were not skunked but darn near. Princeton Man and Bud Kennedy were also registered in the dink club.

Good Food, good conversation, and fishing (catching was tough but we all like fishing).
I promise Laurie and I will do everything in our power to make next year. Two years running life has thrown us a major curve ball ~b~
