Word on the street is that the BASS Elite tournament on Cayuga has been canceled. A guy on another forum ran into a pro and was told this, and apparently is was announced on the BTL (Bass Talk Live) podcast this morning as well. Possibly two other tournaments might be getting canceled as well.

wouldn't seem to be a BASS thing, coming on the heels of Eufala....
thnking particularly about a young angler (local kid) who probably doesn't have the extra dollars to absorb a trip 'in vain'.

Sounds like they feel pretty optimistic about other two NY Elite stops
It's a NY thing, really a Cuomo thing, the Fuhrer has declared that if you are coming from states with hot spots you must quarantine. He was going to have the Troopers out enforcing it. At least he's trying to make room for pro sports but putting the onus of paying for doing the testing on small towns can be daunting for places whose budgets have been crippled because of covid.

Funny that when this all started and New York City was the worst out of anywhere, other states told them they weren't allowed to come to their states. Cuomo started threatening to sue other states, oh how the tables have turned! Lol.
Gov Como is doing exactly like he wants to do, keep his face and name in the news.
For awhile they just HAD to have him on every TV Station spewing his wrath. Now that COVID had slowed down and things were starting to open up, they left him.
So he sees his chance to get back on that National Stage.
Setting himself up for a POTUS run in a few years. Wait and see.

Outside of NYC Cuomo(big Fredo) doesn't have a lot of support and his numbers have gone down in NYC, the nursing home fiasco is dragging him down. He is a spoiled brat who is very strong on "it's my way or the highway". He put advertising along the thruway, a violation of federal guidelines, they finally gave him an ultimatum and 12,000,000 in fines to remove them, of course the taxpayers are paying it. He's anti gun unless it's his guns, that's all I'll say about him.

My opinion is they should just pull any and all BOT MLF etc out of New York take them to another state that will welcome the income from them.
